Terms and Conditions

These terms apply when you use micyaai.com, AI Kids Guru (aikids.guru) or Chalk Talk (chalktalk.space). By creating an account, making a purchase or using any of them, you agree to these terms. Each product may also publish its own terms with product-specific detail; where the two differ, the product's own terms apply to that product.

1. Who we are

The services are operated by Micya AI LLP ("we", "us"), a limited liability partnership registered in India (LLPIN ACY-4624, incorporated 20 May 2026) and recognised as a startup by DPIIT (DIPP284544). Our registered office is Room No. 206, Electronic Block, Registrar, NIT Hamirpur, Himachal Pradesh 177005, India. Micya AI is a startup at NIT Hamirpur; our products are not endorsed or certified by the institute.

2. The services

AI Kids Guru is a story-based course that teaches children and families how AI works, through comic lessons, browser experiments, worksheets, flipbooks, Jupyter notebooks and written feedback on each exercise. The first lessons are free. The full course, and the Teacher Pack for classrooms, are one-time purchases with lifetime access, including lessons released later.

Chalk Talk is a voice-first tutoring board for school maths, physics and chemistry up to Class 10. You talk or type, and the tutor answers aloud and draws on a live board. It is free to try and needs no account. If we introduce paid plans, the price and terms will be shown at chalktalk.space before you pay.

3. Accounts and eligibility

You are responsible for keeping your login secure and for all activity on your account. Tell us straight away if you think someone has used it without permission.

Anyone under 18 needs a parent or guardian to agree to these terms on their behalf. AI Kids Guru accounts for children must be created and managed by a parent, guardian or teacher aged 18 or over. Chalk Talk needs no account; a child using it should do so with a parent's or teacher's knowledge.

4. Purchases and payment

• Prices are shown on each product's website at the time of purchase and include applicable taxes such as GST where they apply. A later price change never affects a purchase you have already made.
• Payments in Indian Rupees are processed by Cashfree Payments. Payments in US Dollars are processed by Paddle, which is the merchant of record for those orders and whose buyer terms also apply to the payment.
• We never receive or store your card, UPI or bank details.
• Refunds and cancellations are covered by our Refund and Cancellation Policy. How access is delivered is covered by our Delivery Policy.

5. Your content

What you write, record or upload stays yours. You give us the licence we need to run the service on it: to store, process, score and show it back to you, and to the people you choose to share it with, such as a class teacher. When you upload material such as a syllabus, you confirm you have the right to use it for your own or your class's study. Uploaded material is visible only within the account or class it was uploaded to.

Record only your own voice, or the voices of people who have agreed to be recorded.

6. AI feedback and reports

Feedback, scores and reports are written with the help of AI models and are for learning and practice only. They can be wrong. Chalk Talk's explanations, drawings and calculations can be wrong, so check important results against your textbook or teacher. Nothing in either product is a validated clinical, psychological, psychometric or medical instrument, and no output is medical, psychological, employment or educational-placement advice. We do not guarantee particular grades, exam results or other outcomes.

7. Acceptable use

Please do not:

• share, download, re-stream or republish lesson videos, comics, books or other paid material;
• share your account outside your household, or a Teacher Pack outside its licensed classroom;
• resell, sublicense or scrape the services, or attempt to bypass payment, access or usage limits;
• upload content you have no right to use, or record other people without their consent;
• use the services for anything unlawful, harmful or abusive.

We may suspend accounts that break these rules, after notice where practical.

8. Our content

The lessons, comics, characters, illustrations, books, worksheets, notebooks, software and branding of Micya AI LLP and its products belong to us or our licensors. Buying access gives you a personal, non-transferable right to use them through the service; it does not transfer ownership. Free third-party tools linked from lessons are governed by their own terms.

9. Availability and changes

We improve the services continuously and may add, change, reorganise or retire features and content. We aim for high availability, but the services are provided "as is" and may sometimes be interrupted for maintenance or reasons beyond our control. If we ever retire a paid service entirely, we will give reasonable notice and refund under our refund policy.

10. Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, and our total liability for any claim arising from the services is limited to the amount you paid us for that service in the 12 months before the claim arose. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer protection law that cannot be excluded.

11. Ending your use

You can stop using the services at any time and ask us to delete your account and its data, as described in our Privacy Policy. We may end accounts that seriously or repeatedly break these terms.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of Himachal Pradesh, India have jurisdiction over disputes. We will always try to resolve a problem with you directly first.
